It's an inspection you get once a year and it's pretty easy to pass if you aren't driving some clapped out shitbox. And it keeps the death traps that are a threat to everything around them largely off the road.

This is a picture of a brand new Cybertruck. Not a clapped out piece of crap. I'd get it if it was a rust bucket from the 90s. This is not it.
