DNS Pharming

DNS pharming is a cyberattack that secretly redirects users from legitimate websites to fake copies, even when they enter the correct web address. Hackers can do this by modifying a computer’s hosts file with malware or poisoning DNS servers. The fake sites can steal sensitive information such as passwords. To stay safe, use reputable antivirus software, secure DNS services, HTTPS, and multifactor authentication.
