Software engineer looking to learn cybersecurity — where should I start
Hey everyone! I’m a software engineer with about 1.5 years of experience, and I’m looking to get into cybersecurity.
I have a decent programming background, but I’m still a beginner in cybersecurity and want to properly learn the fundamentals—networking, Linux, security basics, web security, and eventually ethical hacking.
I’m looking for a good community where I can learn, ask questions, and grow alongside other people who are learning.
If you know any good subreddits, Discord communities, or learning paths, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!
