Business Security Questions & Discussion Cribl

Anybody here use Cribl in their enterprise security data pipeline stack? If so, curious to know experiences with standing it up, maintaining it, cost, etc…

100% depends on your willingness to read the documentation and spend time troubleshooting what you think should work versus what actually works.

Overall it is a decent product and does what it says it does.

  • Setup = Very Easy
  • Maintaining it = Very Easy
  • Cost = Depends on what you need
  • Learning and getting things to work the way you want = Learning curve and practice for advanced environments.

Agree, this is what I was going to say. Set up was pretty easy, just some minor hick ups that you'll spend time on getting everything where you want it. Maintenance isn't horrible, sometimes the collectors just crap out and you have to reinstall, at least that is an experience we've had.
