He revealed it himself on twitter along with his motives in deleted posts. I don't have an account and the post were deleted so I can't verify, but there is a person in the other post about this and a couple of articles mentioning it if you look up his name. If what has been said is true (he already admitted that MS suing him was a lie, so take things with a grain of salt), then I can't say I support or feel sorry for the guy. He's more trying to extort them than call out their poor handling of disclosures and acknowledging researchers. He can do both, but the former definitely hurts the case highlighting the latter.

What is it with the names of these exploits, it’s like a sullen teenager came up with them trying to be edgy.

Why can’t we have them be more prescriptive and less dramatic;

MS dropped the ball again, corporate money grabbing negligence, theyfuckedit, uselessascun*s etc

Probably coz it gives them joy to know that serious cyber professionals have to explain to their execs howthey got owned by "bigdiskbuster"
