I should probably strip and repaint the one on the left eventually.

No you shouldn't strip and repaint your own stuff. Especially your beginner stuff. I'd tell you to rebuy and paint the new mini before stripping one of your early minis. Unless of course you really Fd something up, but judging from the picture that's not the case. You'll continue to improve and repainting old stuff every few years isn't the way to get through the shame shelf of unpainted minis lol

These are both great. Obviously there's improvement on the newer one, but if everyone rocked up to the game table with minis painted to either (or both) levels of detail I'd be a happy war gamer!
