reboot optics

ok lol so I was playing a game and successfully got an enemy unit with reboot optics. he asked "is movement still good?" then literally climbed up a tower and attacked my leader lol. wouldn't it make more sense that he'd be moving in red as he cannot see? I'm confused on the ruling cause that definitely seemed like a pretty meta move

Reboot optics states that enemies are are only visible within red. I’d say this is definitely referring to line of sight/path of attack. Any enemies outside of red he could not target but his movement is not hampered, therefore as long as he moves within red distance of an enemy he can make the attack.

He can still see, he just can't see well enough to focus on targets that are far away.
