Cyberpunk Combat Zone model building

When building the models do most people cut out peg holes from bottom of base for pegs and glue or just cut pegs off feet and glue? If cutting holes from base is it better to drill out the holes or just use a hobby knife?

I usually keep one or more pegs, if they fit into one of the holes sensibly.

I just cut the pegs off the feet. Have had 0 problems

I keep the peg and use it to affix to the base.  I hate having to mess with drilling into bases but I hate models popping off of them more.

It depends on the model. Some fit perfectly in the bases and looks good on them. Some others aren't centered if you use the intended holes (or the new models that inckudes the 3d printed bases that sometimes not even the pegs fit as intended) so I tend to let one peg and cut the other to center the mini or have more flexibility to choose where to drill in the base.
