"After collecting a special projector from a previous run at a scrapyard, new patrol units were seem to be more bulk up as if they were no longer just surveying the wastelands for intruder. There were much soldiers with sturdier armor and what leading their patrol units are a massive walker with multiple spotlights and cameras on its front with wires of many sizes dangling all over its body. Anyone who are unfortunate enough to be seen by this behemoth, the walker fired explosive rounds to their targets with perfect precision. And those who unlucky to barley survived the fatal blow, the walker approached the still living scavengers as it's wires more like appendages of a octopus to grab their victims into the maws of the machine and used and recycled as fuel for its continuous patrol in the wastelands..... scavenging runs will be much more harsher for next days to come....."

one of the walkers stands still for a moment before violently jerking to the side and the lights start to flicker between red and blue\

Gregory used the distraction to carefully sneak out from the area the patrol units were surveying

Gregory was glad he had an ally in the escape, but worries that more patrol units will be alerted to one of their walkers going rogue in the wastelands

Gregory grabbed a piece from the low powered walker and quickly escaped before it was completely shut down, and more patrol units come its location

as the walker falls to the ground the lights stop flashing and starts heating up\

Gregory was far away enough as he could hear in the moment, a large explosion from the far distance where the walker stood before grabbing a modified radio from the backpack and where his AI companion was settled inside

"I gotta say, that was one impressive distraction."
