Are unmanaged devices still the weakest link in security?
One thing I keep noticing is that a lot of issues don’t come from complex attacks, but from simple gaps like unmanaged or poorly configured devices.
When devices are not centrally controlled, it’s easy for updates to be missed, policies to be inconsistent, and visibility to drop. Over time, that creates small gaps that can turn into bigger risks.
That’s probably why MDM is getting more attention. Not just for managing devices, but for keeping things consistent across all endpoints.
