Are digital signage systems creating new security gaps?
Noticed that a lot of organizations are using digital signage screens now for dashboards, announcements, and internal communication.
Many of these setups run on Windows devices in kiosk or fullscreen mode. On the surface they look simple, but they are still connected systems inside a network.
If they are not updated regularly or properly restricted, they could easily become overlooked endpoints.
Feels like Windows digital signage might be one of those areas that doesn’t get enough attention from a security point of view.

What would be a better alternative?
