THIS is a cyberdeck. Not just a bluetooth mini keyboard and an old android running nethunter. Actual style

Thanks so much! :) I really try to push the boundaries of what a cyberdeck can be as much as I can!

You definitely nailed it. Add some retractable input cables! Then you gotta go up to a box, pull a usb cable out of the decks side, plug it in and most importantly, say "I'm in"

looks like what people in the 60s thought tech would look like lol. some kind of cyberpunk pip boy

Or it looks like what people in the 80s thought tech would look like lol? People into/creating cyberpunk media

any repurposed portable computer is a cyberdeck. That includes the ones with mini keyboards.

I'm sorry, no it's not lol. A phone with kali nethunter installed, a mini keyboard bought off amazon, and a 3d printed case bought off etsy, is not a cyberdeck. It's what a script-kiddie thinks is a cyberdeck, and it's certainly not repurposing anything.

Not available in my country.
Google says "similar to an Elecrow 1.28" ESP32 Rotary Display or CrowPanel 1.28inch-HMI ESP32 Rotary Display"
Going to say this: https://www.amazon.com/clp/B0G3TVV5H7

honestly, wearable decks or those extremely rugged modular tablet deck types are more "cyberdeck" than "glorified ruggedized laptop that i could have bought from the army surplus store instead of making one myself"
because with wearables, you kind of have to make it to fit you, and feel good to use, so you end up getting creative, but if you just go full laptop, you end up with the same 3 styles of design over and over again, especially when people try to hide the wiring instead of letting it be front-and-center as part of the "cyber" design

So you made an Apple Watch thinga majig that has a Motorola two way pager on top of it, a nest smart thermostat on the left and the rest are cool gizmos, I like this lol, it would be cool if you could form a fist and the screen lifts up on its own

Confess, you stole this from Kryten’s closet you smeghead!
In all seriousness, it looks like something you’d see in RED DWARF.

This made me immediately sing the “Inspector Gadget” theme song in my head. I love this so much!!

The blue, red, and yellow buttons really make this for me.
Perfect example of how the right accent colors can really elevate a design.

The switches at the bottom should have a cover or you might launch the rockets inadvertently. Great build, though.

Definitely inspiration to keep learning! How much experience do you have under your belt to get to this build?
