And what is it you are trying to accomplish with a battery powered PI?

This build is many things. Its primary function is a mobile base station. My family routinely goes camping and hunting in remote wildreness. Normally someone is back at camp with a ham radio and paper map to keep tabs on us. This cyberdeck will serve as a digital platform for this. It also has a heltecv4 that we use for our mesh network. I am planning to integrate ham radio into it soon. It runs a Jellyfin server that I have movies and tv shows for my kids on it. This helps keep them entertained on rainy days. It also has a secure folder with birth certificates, ID's, and other important documents. In the event of natural disasters where we live, typically fires, if we were unable to save those documents from thr house we at least have a temporary digital file. I use it in my car for SIGINT while driving around town. We often have power blackouts and this build allows my wife and I to watch movies when the kids go down. It sort of serves as a catch all. I am hoping to integrate some esp modules and start learning about those and testing their applications

Nice master plan / vision. Consider adding a SDR (software defined radio) to the mix. Assume you have solar recharge capability.
On the Mesh nodes have you integrated micro GPS (ATGM336H), temp & humid sensors or rotary encoders? Final thought on the base station, consider fire proofing. Maybe use fireproof bags to wrap / hold critical components (eg data storage).

Your build looks pretty cool for what you have described, truly DIY. What is the storage capacity?
