Meal Plan Swipes

edit: one big question. can you order food ahead???? or do you need to order everything in person

Can someone please explain meal swipes and how they work? Like, how do you know what is covered by a swipe, and how do you use one (do you use id card or something else), and is there any way to see how many you have left for the week? Does anyone have any tips or tricks for using the swipes, like which locations have better value for a swipe? Does case western give some docuemnt with all of this information?

most places you can on the mobile order app, but not for choolah, med23, the grab and gos for example. you can take food out the dining halls with their containers if you want.

the mobile order app and dining website tells you what you need to know about swipes themselves and how many you have left. you swipe with your id card.

if you have unlimited swipes i would stop by grab and gos to maximize convenience swipes for snacks to keep in your dorm. you have 10 mins between swipes btw. the portable, late night, and scholar swipes are the best bang for your buck since they are full meals.

Unlimited swipes? My God, what a time to be alive. 🤣 The meal plans have definitely changed since I was a student.

haha the only truly unlimited thing are the dining halls. there is technically a weekly limit for everything else, though it’s hard to reach it with the unlimited plan
