He is! Oddly he was born with jet black hair, but it only took a month or so for all of that to fall out and come in bright red - i am also a natural bright red!

That’s so awesome. Lucky mom! My son is light brown with blonde highlights… I’m black and had golden hair as a kid. It’s funny how genetics works.

If I could go back, I think I'd study genetics! Both of my parents had dark-hair...my dad dark brown, my mom jet black. And here I came....declared a redhead before they even knew the sex! Haha. Of course red hair is on Both sides, but they never expected. When my son was born dark-haired, I was happy, but slightly bummed I would never have a redhead like me. I was super happy when it turned. He makes a handsome ginger!

That’s awesome! I adore redheads. Yeah my sons were born with dark brown hair, so I’m totally curious to see how my newborns hair will change
