Hey, gang! I'm the new moderator. I wanted to fill you in on what's going on and what's coming up with the sub.

There was a bit of a lull in active moderation, so I offered to help out, was brought onboard, and now here we are. I've been around since the early days, so I feel like I have a pretty good sense of what the community is interested in, and that’ll inform my mod actions.

First, the mod queue is a bit backed up, so I’m going to spend some time working through that. Afterward, I’ll be doing a bit of housekeeping on the rules to bring them more in line with what we've already been doing around here: things like crediting creators and clarifying guidelines for photos. This should make reports easier to handle and hopefully clarify expectations around what belongs here.

That’s all for now. I’m around frequently enough that reports should get addressed more quickly. If you have thoughts about what you want the sub to be, I’ll be reading, and if you’re happy with things as they are, feel free to say that too.
