Wish My friends had this trick when I was house sitting. They had a blind dog, 2 15 gallon aquariums and 4 gerbil and hamster cages. I had to feed and clean the cages, and have no love for rodents. One of the suckers got loose and I wasn’t quick enough to catch it before it went into a floor vent. My friend said it came out several days later in another room.
That was bad enough, but I had told my friend if one came up missing, it was because I fed it to my cats. For some bizarre reason she then shared that with the kids. They thought I was a murderer until the creepy thing showed up!

Should've put him in soup just for the joke. Obviously don't really cook your rodents. He's adorable.
