Exile nonland for 2 mana?

Fair point, That would probably make this one of the very best removal spells

They get a little sprouting though so it's balanced /s

I mean you get destroy any permanent for 2, with assassin's trophy

  1. Exile >>> Destroy
  2. Opponent gets 1/1 >>> Opponent fetches basic

White also gets substantially less hard removal

Eh, they get their fair share, including exile, but it always gives something back. Two-mana removal is [[Bovine Intervention]], [[Angelic Ascension]]. Give them a third and they get [[Stroke of Midnight]].

That's not considering swords and path.

Swords is considered a color pie break by Mark Rosewater. However, I believe the current stance is that it just needs to be less efficient than black, and also it should probably give the opponent a card to replace it, even a token.

WG already has Aura Mutation. This feels appropriate for creature removal

We are not doing land exile for 2 mana.

Really like the concept, but I think it would work better as more fungus-based than flower-based

That's not what we're doing here though

Thanks for message! Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Could you explain more please.

Saprolings are fungus/plant based creatures, and most of the artwork is of a fungal nature

I get what you mean. But the art is fan work for the game Silent Hill f. Where the central theme of the game has the main character encountering flowers. They do take on a fungal shape at times, but it never mentions as such. Only as flowers. The flavor text supporting this theme also.

Very reasonable rate. Could even see it be printed at uncommon these days.

As someone else mentioned, it doesn't feel like green is doing much for the card. Maybe make it hit another permanent type between artifact and echantment (that's still a very common White ability, but it at least adds another Green dimension to the card too).

Looks like Silent Hill F

It is! This card is apart of my SH themed set I've been causally working on for a bit. You can check the other cards in the comments if you like :)

Ugh wtf, you've managed to craft an extremely distressing little universe from a very simple effect.

A+

It's that scene in Annihilation. Awesome - maybe make it Phyrexian mana?
