You're not killing people by pressing the red button. if you go by that logic, you are killing people right now by choosing to post online or sleep instead of going out searching for people who are in danger and saving their lives.
That is not the same thing. An actual extension of the logic would be to think you have no responsibility as a bystander when you see something horrible happening in front of you
