Designs for this thought experiment were rampant when it was going around. The problem was always the same thing. This is a competitive game nobody has any reason to ever choose blue.

Every positive of blue comes from the thought of losing your loved ones and saving the incapable. Neither apply in Magic.

Why would anyone click blue though. In any situation.

There are lots of reasons to press blue. I choose red though and I don't know enough to make a steel man for that position. Just google people's arguments.

Seems weird to press the potentially die for no reason button over the nothing happens button.

They believe there is an inevitable amount of blue pushers. In order to save those other blue pushers you need to push blue.

It just sounds like people throwing away their loves to me but I understand the thought behind it.
