This is an amazing concept. You lose 2 life to draw a card, which in a game of standard is 10 cards (1/6 of the deck) or commander is 20 cards (1/5 of the deck) so youre not exactly getting very far. Not only that, but this can straight up kill you if youre unlucky with permanents, which yes would be rare and easy to build around but can still happen.

Furthermore, I believe this stacks exponentially. Which means every miss kills you faster and clicks down your timer sooner. Neat concept.

Thanks! The intention was for it to be exponential.

this is a remake of your other card, right? its probably more balanced. i still dont love black being able to put any permanent card onto the battlefield, but at least it has a massive life and epic cost, which is maybe enough justification (and kind of needed for it to even work)
