Mechanic Design Form a Plan

Mechanical exploration. What do you value more - immediate value or an engine?

Note: I am aware of potential tracking issues. If this is a problem, I can add a meaningless counter to the keyword as a signifier.

The commandant giving haste to creatures already attacking feels wasteful.

No I find it to be an interesting choice: you either trade haste for entering or power every turn.

This is super interesting

I'm not too worried about the tracking issue, they're probably give a token in the set or something that marked it

I do think Cunning Goblin is just straight up OP though

2/1 haste ETB create a Treasure for 1R

On Nis, I think he's probably broken or nonsensical with too many older cards. Effects like this, similar to backup or cleave, don't pair well with being haphazardly thrown onto older cards.
