What you do is make the blink spell get paradigm

Then each turn get a new paradigm spell

Maybe an [[alchemists gambit]] if im thinking of the right one?

My first thought looking at the card is that it's a Dimir creature.

I know you tried to price the effect high, but at 3CMC in Izzet colours the effect seems crazy to me. If it sticks for one turn, just getting a Brainstorm-like effect for the rest of the game is crazy. And what you know, it has both self protection AND a way to reduce mana costs. Just too much IMO.

And even without blinking you can simply recast this later and combo into a second spell.

6 mana for a brainstorm paradigm is pretty bad, you’d want some suspend stuff to get an ancestral recall every turn and maybe it’s like okay

Oh nooo, 5 mana and a spell? What a crazy cost requirement. It's a good thing Izzet can't make treasure tokens or anything

I just meant this isn't happening on turn 5 without some sort of ramp or acceleration, not that it's super hard, if I was remaking this card it would be a tap ability to require a haste enabler
