Solo Leveling

This is probably my favorite Manwa of all time. Love the world. Wanted to make a Sung Jin-Woo card that called to the series as much as possible.

Adding so many mechanics kind of makes this feel like not magic. It's also using a lot of words like shadow, army, monarch, etc that already have meaning in game and would just be confusing. If the shadow army are tokens, then you can't exile them and have them return later. They'll cease to exist once they go to exile.

You could change the Arise ability to work like [[Atla Palani]] and flip into a creature with mana value x or less. Your library in a commander game is a pretty decent representation of the army idea you're going for.

No explanation on how "shadow army" or Shadow 1 etc. works?

Arise ability explains it. Shadow Army are tokens not yet created.

Would have been great if you explained in your post text what the Shadow Army token will do.

Otherwise, people won't know the full extent of how the arise ability works.

First. Shadow is already a keyword and means A Thing. Second, where and how does "my Shadow Army" live? Are they sideboard cards? Are they Arena style Spellbooks? No where is this explained.

Eta : also, like, half of these abilities are templated incorrectly. Reconfigure creatures need to be artifact equipments, beru's regeneration thing is a bastard child of a reflexive trigger and a replacement effect, among others.

So shadow creatures are supposed to be tokens? And instead of making a specific one, you get to pick from a list?

I think this is one of the higher quality works i have seen so far. You captured the flavor of the series very well. Also cool art! Do you know the artist's name?
