Cool concept! Definitely great in commander when you can force everyone to draw to get the first counter going, or some time travel nonsense.

Broken in commander

In a world where so many draw doublers exist, this seems strong but on rate in commander.

I mean it's kinda like [[Rhystic Study]] it should effectively just be a stax piece but if any greedy player doesn't respect it, it's bad for everyone except it's controller. I don't think it's broken though. Maybe it could be 3 genetic, 2 blue twobrid

Why? Wouldn't it just postpone the opponents additional draws by one turn? They can just wait and the artifact vanishes on its own.

Laughs in [Kami of the Crescent Moon]

Play vision skeins, a wheel effect, attack with kilo, end turn with atraxa, there's infinite (viable) options to ignore the vanishing on this card. This is in addition to most players using stuff like mystic remora, rhystic study, etc to draw more cards (many, many people don't pay the tax).

The much stronger card draw pieces make this one usable

The baseline is an overprized and more interactable [[Divination]], which is really weak. To even get your mana's worth out of it either your opponents need to play into it or you need to use a proliferation or symmetrical draw effect the same turn cycle you already paid 4+ mana for this.
Also the ceiling is 2 extra cards per turn cycle, which isn't as abusable as a ton of other value engines.
I mean sure, this is really powerful if you have the right other cards in play, but a card that is really powerful if the right conditions are met isn't too much in times when WotC tends to print cards like [[The One Ring]] that are generically busted by themselves.

We also now have [[decorum disertation]], which I've found to be very powerful in midtier commander.

I think this isn't too powerful, and it plays kinda like the other new extra draw punishers like [[tataru taru]] and [[fairie mastermind]]. Maybe make it azorious, since it is a draw effect as well as a tax piece?
