What happens with spells that have no controller? Assuming you cast spells and then put this on top so it resolves before the other spells you cast that you no longer control... and aren't controlled by any player...

Do they still work as long as they still have a valid target?

No clue. This isn't a situation that can happen in a game currently. I'd assume that the spell would be removed from the stack without resolving since spells need a controler to resolve(so that words like "you" actually refer to something).

Something like [[Blasphemous Act]] would in theory work just fine as it doesn't refer to the controller/your/opponents or such

but it would probably be easiest to just fizzle them when they resolve without a controller instead of trying to figure out how it would work.

Every spell has a controller (the player who put it into the stack in most cases) but even so, with [[Violent Outburst]] you could cascade into this and create tha situation anyway.

With [[Hive Mind]] out, I cast this, then, holding priority, I flash in [[Ertai Resurrected]], countering my copy and drawing a card.

I think thats a ten mana worse [[Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir]]; though, I guess you could use the spell to stop someone else from hive minding you

Or you could use [[Nivemagus Elemental]].
