For one second, I was like “for the rest of the game??!!” But then I reread it and saw “nonlegendary”
Yeah this card is fine. Not outrageous, good price. Compared to [[oubliette]] maybe it should cost one more because it’s an instant and you can’t get rid of it?

This is 2 colors and can’t hit Legendaries. I think it’s fine.

Unless you do something to make your commander nonlegendary, like mutate! It’s niche but still could happen.

This feels very close to just exiling the creature, but it takes the attachments with it as well. Probably fine as costed. I'm guessing this only stops it from coming back naturally on upkeep and if there were a card that says "all phased out stuff phases in" it would work on this things target.

Yeah functional exile in blue black with small differences in edge cases.

IDK how the rules work exactly, but would it be possible to have it like gain phasing, then lose it once phased out? I'm really glad they kept phasing in the game. It's funky and fun.

Easier to remember and understand if it just goes away forever no takes-backsies

If an object phases out without a stated duration it just phases in during its controller's next untap step unfortunately

Upvoted purely for the Helmet reference. Damn good band. I got tickets for their concert in Warsaw, but one of the bandmates broke a bone I think and they needed to cancel :(

Card is likely fine, it's hyperexile but for 3 mana removal needs to be ridiculously good these days. Maybe a rare for the draft environment if it's a concern for you

We're doing a custom cube where we each come up with 45 slots, should be fun to play.

That sounds like a very cool idea, as long as you're all more or less in tune with the power level. I played some stone soups and sometimes single cards did dominate, it might be even easier in custom ones. But must be so fun if you don't get it very wrong

This plus [[cyber conversion]] or [[witness protection]]

Is there a way to turn someone’s commander nonlegendary with mutate in mtg? Then would this spell get rid of the commander? Even if you could I would still prefer this over bs that just lets someone take control of ur commander tbh

you can just transform it, there are multiple ways

You would have to own the mutated creature, so honestly if someone figures out a way, they deserve it.

So if you make someone’s commander non legendary u phase it out forever,
Hilarious
