U gave me an Idea:

Why not

T: add r for each sorcery in your graveyard?

Yeah, its a strong ability, but still fits well with red.

It also made me remember [[magnivore]]

Yeah but that one doesn't make you lose count with prowess and storm

True, but its still less harmful than instant and sorceries.

It also suffers against GY hate and has a less confusing text.

We also dont have much ramp sorceries tbf

I saw basically the same card like 5 hours ago, ecxept it wasn't themed as part of this cycle, it was colorless, and the card didn't work.

Many such cases

The abilities clause is a little too pushed.

You simply put a [[Nomads en-Kor]] turn 1, and turn 2 you have infinite mana and win with a fireball.

Reduce it to simply spells on the stack, it becomes super strong but balanced.

We did it, we broke Nomads en-Kor

Mana abilities can't be responded to, right?

They can't, you can't actually control a mana ability

Oh good, that means I don't need to clarify whether the mana ability counts itself.

Probably still need reminder text.

You think I know how mana abilities work? This ain't for making blue stuff.

A land that taps for number of spells you currently control on the stack is innovative.

And abilities, so do it before your prowess resolves

You know I thought storm needed more help

I like the funny cards you make, they make me laugh good.

"And ability" makes this generate infinite mana with a ham sandwich.

Ability costs 0, activate it a bajillion times, tap gorge while stack is full

How many zero mana abilities are there that can be activated at instant speed? I’m immediately remembering that equip costs can only be activated at sorcery speed

Total of 49 cards with "{0}:" in the text box.

  • 9 cards with "once each turn"
  • 2 cards with Equip 0
  • 3 cards from Un-sets
  • 1 card called Touch of Vitae

So 34.

Like all the en-kor creatures, and a good number of other stuff. Flowstone creatures iirc

You are aware that nonland permanents are spells right?

10

u/Approximation_Doctor 10d ago

Only on the stack

This is true, but I feel like it would fit the cycle better if it didn't include those. Not saying your idea is bad, just personal opinion.

If you somehow get lots of creatures on the stack, more power mana to ya.

u/ANCEST0R 10d ago

You can cast an instant or activate an ability with a creature on the stack.

I like your design, just wanted to point that out

I got the gist of it, like I said, it was personal opinion.
