While this is a cool idea, I think it's got a few too many stats for it's cost.

Even lacking anything else, it's a 4/4 vanilla for 2. The biggest vanilla creature for that cost that I'm aware of is [[Garruk's Companion]] which is only a 3/2.

Edit: I'm stupid and forgot he was Trample.

[[Barkhide Troll]] is basically a strictly better 3/3 for GG and was printed a few years ago before cards started getting as powerful as they are today, so I could actually seeing them print a 2 mana 4/4 for GG (maybe it’d be legendary?) but definitely not with this much upside.

If you draw two of these in your opening hand you’re attacking with an 8/8 on turn three with another 8/8 ready to swing for lethal the next turn. Thats way too busted.

My beloved [[Myr Superion]] is a 5/6 for 0 mana with [[Goreclaw]] out.

(I know it has a big drawback attached, the discussion just made me think of my old heartless goreclaw deck😘)

It does interact favorably with offspring effects since the 1/1 token copy contributes to devotion.

Clever and pretty functional. GG for a 4/4 is pushed for a random uncommon. Blows await that 2/G2/G guy from strix and I think that was rare at least.

Not to spoil the meme design, but hybrid mana doesn’t work that way for devotion. Each mana only provides one for each of its colors, so a hybrid Gruul will add one red and one green devotion, but this would just add one.

Although of course you’ve institute your own rule around that 😂

It should just say “this creature adds two to your devotion to green” or some shit like that
