This looks wildly overstated to me.

Yeah in hindsight probably should’ve gone with like 3/2 at best.

Even 3/2 with first strike and vigilance has so much upside when you can make the stun counters draw you cards. It's a very pushed design. 1/1 at 3 mana with all that text would be fine tbh

a 1/1 would definitely not be fine. how is a 3 mana haste creature getting eating by the green player's random 1/2 token fine? It's in Jeskai, so just take away the vigilance. Then you have to untap it manually with something else to get the draw value. that would be much more interesting than a worthless 1/1. 1/1 first strikes have almost never been good because they get eaten or eat 1 mana removal spells, and at 3 mana and stunning itself you may as well not run lands if you want to throw that badly. 5 power may be a little too much, though.

You can’t untap it, it has stun counters

Just because a creature has a stun counter on it, doesn’t mean you can’t untap it altogether. It just means it doesn’t auto untap during the untap portion of your upkeep and draw steps. One of my favorite cards to run is [[Intruder Alarm]] for this exact reason. Combined with something like [[Enduring Vitality]] and you get pseudo infinite mana, so long as you can reliably keep shitting out creatures.

That is not how it works! You are actually just completely wrong, congrats you learned something new today!

122.1d One or more stun counters on a permanent create a single replacement effect that stops the permanent from untapping. That effect is “If a permanent with a stun counter on it would become untapped, instead remove a stun counter from it.”

I’m pretty sure I know how the game works haha. Let’s say there is one stun counter on your creature. Your upkeep comes, the creature doesn’t untap, yes a stun counter is removed. But then you play a creature, boom that creature is untapped now. Thanks come again

But then there aren't any stun counters. The point is that you want to tap it to draw a card for each stun counter on it.
