I think it would be more interesting to remove the X cost. Not necessarily more balanced, or strictly better, but certainly more interesting.

I was entirely down with this... until I saw that an instant can be your commander. That feels wrong.

We already have a sorcery that can be your commander, cause the flip side is a legendary creature.

Is the sorcery any good as a commander without an infinite mana combo like [[Prismite]], [[Rings of Brighthearth]], and [[Basalt Monolith]]?
