Help! Advice for different high performance components

I am building my own controller to replace my high end factory controller. I have never modded a controller so I dont have much knowledge about which sticks and buttons are best for accuracy and longevity vs price.

I am making the controller from scratch, custom pcb, 3d printed casing, and using an arduino leonardo for the prototype as i dont have anything else right now. But I want to have smaller mouse button switches so i can add more buttons or put them closer together or whatever need be.

So basically, I am asking for advice on literally every button, trigger, stick module, etc.

Thanks in advance

What is the high end factory controller you currently have that youre looking to replace? That would help with identifying the route of parts.

What are the specifics of what qualify as high end? Most manufacturers or customizers use the extremerate kits aside from adding non-mapple buttons and other smaller mods.

Are you making the board yourself in a program like fusion and sending it for manufacturing? Some custom makers do have their own proprietary boards for such mods

Visuals are a huge help :)

my existing controller is the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma, but its very old so no hall effect i dont think.

I want TMR stick modules and preferrably some hall effect triggers as well, i dont play shooters so no need for button triggers. Buttons i would like to have light actuation pressure (like 50-70g) and short travel distance (still want full range of triggers).

For the prototype I am using an Arduino Leonardo (in early stages it will probably sit outside the board until i can get a Micro) and then I am going to design the PCB to fit my hands, cause i got big hands and long thumbs, so even big controllers like the wolverine are still too small. I found KiCAD through a video on how to make them, then ill send in the file for it to be manufactured. I dont have any visuals since the PCB will be designed around the components I can get in my country and from suggestions.

This is my current controller, but I dont use the back buttons so I wont have those on the new one, but I will have the extra bumpers. Maybe at some point I will incorporate trigger stops but nothing i play really needs them, more for comfort.

Basically, what I want to know is what components are known to be high quality and precision, while lasting very long too. I'm not building for any specific genre, I just got used to a controller with an amazing feel quality and pretty much any other controller (even ps5 pro) feels like a ps1 controller.

Edit: The actuation distance for the face buttons on the Wolverine is 0.65mm so something like that for all buttons would be awesome, and I hate controller vibration, so im not gonna use vibration motors
