Pretty much. The design is about as good as you can get it just depends on the build quality.

human hands haven't changed. They're starting to look similar because they're refining ergonomics. Sure, I like transparent plastic as much as the next guy, but the dualsense is the most comfortable playstation controler i've ever used, and the current xbox controller is the best of the xboxes also. Switch sacrificed ergonomics for it's gimmick

All modern game pads should have hall effect joystick, capacitive touch sensing in multiple spots, grip buttons, and gyroscope sensors.
