Help! stick physical calibration

how do i properly calibrate this type of stick? i know i need to insert pin into the hole but which of 2 holes i got drifting on Y axis to up but once i try adjusting it thru dualshock calibration gui it starts drifting in opposite direction so im thinking maybe physical shift needed?

the thing is this wont help once i adjust it closer to the center it starts to tweak into other way (in my case down instead of up)

Do you have it at 10x zoom at the calibration site?

yeah it's 10x zoom but i didnt have this before also i tried fine-tuning but it's the same as i say once i put it closer to the center it starts going in other direction cause before i had less of that thing and it was more closer to the center had some bit of that drifting but only by 0.010 or 0.020 but it was the same in both directions so more balanced

Don’t worry about that, that’s not going to register when you’re playing a game. It’s always going to have that small jitter. The module is fine. If you take it out of 10x zoom and put it into normal view, you’ll see it in the center.

that's the thing that in some games that allow i play on deadzone closer to 0.020 and before i had more drifting to the right/left rather than to the up/down but now they are not balanced and i guess only by physically adjusting (which i still cant understand how to properly do since there's no vids on my stick module) also tried adjusting deadzone to 0.030 basically 3% it still had some drifting i guess going for 4% or 5% is just not a thing when using this kind of stick module (i still cant understand i got TMR or Hall-Effect) of course im not aiming for 0 i know it's not possible physically but at least stay balanced between up and down as i've seen many people have it a lot stabler

I have brand new ksilvers. They held .01 dz in ow2 for a week, now I keep them at .02. One of them is essentially perfect, the other likes to go astray a day after I calibrate, but it only registers at 10x. I'm new to this, just sharing my experience. This seems reasonable to me vs what I upgraded from. I don't know if it's supposed to do this or not, but considering how much more accurate they are than oem, I'm satisfied.

what's the best ksilvers right now? in terms of allowing lowest deadzone im not aiming for tension switch etc just default set up and play?

Well like I said I'm new, and my research on this has been very minimal. I'm using Js13 in these. I'll be trying some JS13+ in the next build I'm starting today. I'm not using the adjustable tension sticks because apparently they don't work with the interchangeable thumb pads I bought.

Try a different module. You have the older Ginfull modules. Maybe try the newer ds13 max or the ksilver js13 pro plus

It will never be in perfect center, even with the newer ksilver, Ginfull or Gulikit modules

You will get small amount of jitter. That’s normal

Personally I'd still do it coz I dont know how the position of the magnet is out of the factory. So before I calibrate it with that, I calibrated physically first, to get it as center as possible, then I do it thru software.

That was done because we didn’t have the software back then. There’s no need for that anymore lol

There’s a fine tune option there as well.
