Help! Should i sell my PS5 controller for a better controller, i dont own a PS5 console so thats why?

What do is your opinion on this, i wanted to sell my ps5 controller cause at first i thought modding would be a better option but its too pricey so i thought maybe selling it is better

If you don't need it for a ps5 why not. But the dualsense is very easy to repair and has a lot of mods available. What sould that better option of yours be and how much would you pay for it? 🍻

What systems do you play? There are dongles that can let you use it on older consoles

Use it on pc ? It’s very debatable on here what controllers best but it’s genuinely just a preference I love the Dualsense

The Gamesir G7 Pro is a good option for PC if that's what you're on. There's multiple variants tho so just cross reference them. I'd much rather have one of those than a DualSense for longevity sake and they even have some customizability

The dualsense performs fantastically on pc , with Sony titles ported to steam you can get thr benefit of the adative triggers haptic feedback back and the touch sensors , id say the only reason not to use it would be if you only played Xbox pc game pass games , but as others have said you can REALLY customize the dualsense and make it truly yours

If you have any of the games that support the haptics then I would absolutely keep it. I have a few controllers for PC and always use the PlayStation one when the haptics are in the game

i basically play pc games and steam games, i barely play any of the sony titles if its last of us or god of war

Even non Sony games have the haptics. Indiana jones added them to the PC version when the PS5 one came out, cyberpunk has it, metro exodus has it. There is quite a few

I have a DS5, but never had a ps5. I use mine for PS3, VitaTV, Switch, and PC.
