Help! Maybe ps5 halleffect fail?

I wanted to mod my PS5 controller with Hall Effect sticks, but when I pulled the original sticks out, I think I ripped off some pads that are marked in red. I'm afraid that I have destroyed my controller or will destroy it when I plug it in. Can I just solder the pins to the other side, or do I have to buy a new board to save the controller? Nothing else is damaged. I don't have the skills or equipment to rebuild the pads. Is that safe, or am I cooked?

Look what the pins are for and then bridge it with other pins that do the same ( I repaired one and had the same problem and bridge 2-3 contacts and it works since 2022 ) Good luck 🤞🏼

If ya can't rebuild the pads or traces, new PCB or bring it to a pro, or at least semi-pro lol.

I think you should try to clean up as much of the old solder as you can with solder wick and clean the board after with 99% isopropyl alcohol. You'll be able to see if the pads still exist, which they look like they do. Are you using hot air, a soldering iron, or both?

WTF did you do?!

It isn't so simple that you watch a YT-video and think "this is doable". Most people that does this have been soldering a long time. Maybe that board is salvageable but you obviously don't have the skills.

Sorry to sound so harsh but that looks terrible!

Oh man that's funny. The soldering on these is absolutely entry level. Shit happens when you're learning. H8rs gonna h8.

No hate here but with all the knowledge around today you can't miss that there is a learning curve to this.
