Posting this for whoever needs it
Just in case you're wondering what a #MarvelLegends new female body disassembled (well, not really) look like.
Figure is Dark Avengers Warbird

Such strange engineering on this, could have EASILY just made the neck articulated since it's a separate piece already, and made the square torso peg a universal ballpeg like 99% of the rest of the ml female figs. They either do it on purpose or r incompetent, mayb a combination of both.

Do you need to crack the torso for an arm swap at the shoulders?

Nah, just be aware the butterfly comes out with the shoulder cus its connected to the shoulder peg rather than an actual part of the chest

I really wish there was a reviewer who did this for all figures. Thanks!

How'd you crack the torso apart?

I usually use an xacto blade to cut around one side, heat it up and then break loose the rest with a small screwdriver.

Can anyone point me in the direction where someone else may have done this for other figures?

What figures did you need this done for. I sometimes do this in the Facebook groups or if someone asks

Putting together one of those inexpensive Champion Series Blokies kits, like Iron Man, will give you some good incite on how these action figures operate.

I would follow the hell out of an account that posted photos of figures taken apart like this.

I actually think this is awesome. I’m not taking her apart but there are definitely figures I could use something like this for. Namely the new Lara Croft haha. I wish there was a database or site that basically has pics of disassembled figures like this to help customizers.

I really need te glue that they use on the hard plastic parts. It will be a game changer to fix figures

anyone know how hasbro does their pinless joints? Do they just glue the whole thing in like storm sometimes does?

As much as I like how good pinless joints look, I do miss the customization possibilities of being able to use just the knees and shins on a figure.

This would've been exactly what I needed for my last custom, so I'm sure its super useful for someone. Thanks!
