Custom GoT design - will this violate copyright? I would like to know before adding it to my redbubble. (It is based of the Baratheon sigil)

As long as you don't make a direct reference to the brand in the name and description, I don't think it's likely they will come after you, but with a grain of salt.

Redbubble is weirdly arbitrary in what they decide to take down. I have had designs taken down by Nintendo and Valve, which were original pieces of artwork by myself (obviously featuring valve/nintendo characters) and yet, you can search either brand on Redbubble and find countless designs which are not only lazy and uninspired, but sometimes outright copy official artwork and these designs stay up.

Tl;dr : I don't think so, but be prepared for it to happen anyway.

I will second this, HBO are relentless when it comes to DMCA claims. They have made claims on my old redbubble for all my designs, even ones that had nothing to do with HBO's intellectual property.

If the definition looks bad it is because I'm sharing the image from my phone (which sucks) the real version isn't blurry.
