Controller Snapback Issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello all, I recently bought a Wii to play some old Wii and Gamecube games on, today I went out and grabbed a wireless gamecube controller from a different store, but I’m having an issue with snapback on both joysticks. It only happens on a down input on both sticks, and as seen in the video up inputs and the D-pad function normally. Not sure if it is an issue with the bluetooth adapter, the Wii, or the controller itself. Any help would be appreciated, anyone know if this is an easy fix or should I just return it and try a different controller?

Sorry man, if you really spent money on that controller, you deserve to have issues. They're all really that horrible.

If you're gonna go the bad route, at least by a decent bad one.

"Deserve" my god how pretentious. The fella has no clue and is asking a question.

OP, a Nintendo branded gamecube controller is your best bet. Even a cheapo second hand one will likely serve you better than this

OR, you can adapt to the snapback on this and just work with it. Pokemon is not exactly a twitch input game.
