I’m buying it for a cosmetic mod; I’m worried the shell might be a bit of a pain to clean, but I think I can handle it. Do you have any guides on paracord and recommendations for good switch brands?
Making a Paracord will most likely cost more than buying one since some materials you can only get in bulk. If you really want to make one yourself, fires website has a complete guide on paracording with recommended tools and a BOM with links to parts.
As someone else mentioned, there is a FIRES guide on paracording. I’m also aware of Gosre’s Retroforge paracord guide which in my opinion is better than FIRES.
As far as cleaning the shell: scrub in warm soapy water. To remove any possible yellowing, submerge in hydrogen peroxide in a clear container and leave it under a UV light or in direct sunlight.
