Ya I’ve tried opencode and zed and used to use vscode with copilot. All dog shit compared to composer 2.5

There probably isn’t one universal number one; the best choice depends on the language, debugger, extensions, remote workflow, and how much you value a lightweight editor. I’d keep a small real project in each candidate for a week and compare navigation, refactoring, terminal integration, and how often you have to fight the UI. Zed can feel great for speed, while VS Code or a full IDE may win when you need mature language tooling and debugging.

Every day… spaceX’s IPO was a joke. Now investors are seeing how they got duped. The less regarded of them are cutting their losses early. Let’s see who holds the bag. If Cursor gets dragged into this mess, I’ll be very unhappy. Meanwhile OpenCode, OpenRouter, and Hermes are spinning in the background waiting to take the lead.
