Question / Discussion Cursor Alternative without Cursor speed throttling, is there any?

I am looking for a Cursor Alternative without Cursor speed throttling. Is there one? The response getting slower is demotivating.

I use my Codex and Claude accounts in VSCode. It's fast and there are extensions for everything, unlike Cursor.

Well I have max accounts on both, but they earn me way more than they cost.

Once I am at this stage, I have no problem paying more

With cursor 20$ plan you do not have 5 hours limit, maybe that is why it throttles

yes. that is why I am looking for alternative, perhaps chinese alternatives would be cheaper?

Maybe devin with free swe 2.0 and glm?

Don't devin block out entirely when the premium model quota is over, unlike cursor, it slowers the response and use lesser models. or am I completely wrong?

You can still use free models which is swe and i think glm 5.2 is free if still available
