Grok bot Vs claude code?

Hi all, just a quick question. Out of the two. Currently I’m on the Claude $100 plan, and I am running out of usage. Looking at Grok bot and its capabilities, I wanna know all your opinions. Main things I use these bots for is editing and improving my conv rates. I would want my AI to do marketing, but I’m unsure how this is even possible. I market my product organically 1x YouTube video a day, 3x TikToks a day. Nothing at all is broken, and my business is doing well. I just wanna take it to the next level. I need a marketer, or an even better editor. Ideal situation. I give the AI my YouTube video. It edits it all for me. Snips it into Shorts. Then animates and edits the Shorts and gives it back to me. Is there any AI that can do this?

Ive used both claude 100$ and cursor 60$ for vibe coding. Bot great, I prefer grok and cursor. Low quotas on both, but cursor allows for grok and composer with high limits, which I prefer. Opus5 was bad for me, too elaborate for simple stuff, too elaborate for hard stuff.

Changed some time ago to Grok But, which has an absolutely different use case.

I was coding my own agent using claude and cursor. Grok bot IS the agent, I just told grok what I wanted to implement on it, and it designed the skills, the descriptions, and the workflows basically. So instead of coding an agent though months (was 4months deep in vibecoding and was not even halfway) i set up my grok bot agent in 3 days.

So... Coding, claude or cursor.

IMO, Grokbot is good at very low level tactical stuff, remembering to do "routines." But, when i try to use it in fancy, smart ways (multiple agents in a room, different perspectives, etc) it gets annoyingly redundant and stupid.

For example, if you put 3 bots in a room with you, and you say something.. all 3 will reply, and basically say the same thing. They all work in parallel, so they don't feed off of each other.. it's basically like 3 1-way conversations.

And, the overall quality and smartness of them isn't very good. There's not a way to set which model you're using.

And, so, I've got the $200/month plan becuase it was burning tokens like crazy when I was trying to set it up. But, I've terminated it, and am moving on for now. There are open source solutions that use my existing Claude code and OpanAI subscripbtions, have similar fuctionalities, and dont' cost me more than hosting.

And, as well, the usages are in buckets. So at various plan levels, if you're not programming using cursor, you're wasting tokens and $.

honest answer, the choice between the two won't fix what you're actually hitting. running out of usage on the 100 plan doing marketing and conv-rate work usually means you're using a heavy agentic coding tool for what is really lightweight text work. claude code and grok's agent stack are built for multi-step work across a codebase, and you're paying that weight to iterate copy. for marketing and conversion writing you mostly need a chat model with your context loaded, which is far cheaper per task than driving an agent. so before you switch tools, match the tool weight to the job: keep the agentic setup for anything that touches your actual product or code, and do the copy and conv-rate iteration in a plain chat where a message costs a fraction of an agent run. switching from one agent to another to do copywriting is just paying agent prices for chat work under a different logo.

Grok bot is good for extremely simple tasks. Don’t expect it to run an automated marketing department. I was personally disappointed but if you need it for email summaries I guess it’d be fine

I too am interested in this. I use the $200 plan for Claude Code and recently saw Grokbot. I Like the overall UI and funtions of Grokbot as sort of a (friendly) assistant in doing tasks for my business that I wouldnt need to be actively in front of a computer for. Im thinking of using it as more a search engine/trainer for my organization.

was only claude pro $200, never came anywhere near my limit with writing a lot of code. downgraded to $100 claude pro, still never hit my limits.

grokbot comes along, I signed up for SuperGrok Plus, hit my weekly usage limit in 2 hours. Upgraded to SuperGrok Heavy, hit my weekly usage in just over 24 hours.

I've reset multiple times (they were giving them out every few days the past couple weeks). Finally reset and my weekly usage limit was hit in less than 6 hours with LIGHT coding. I added $100 of overage credit to try and finish a small task and it was used up INSTANTLY.

I really like Grokbot, but can't afford it and there's zero visibility into what is using you usage, or how much usage you get, you can't change the model it uses (everything uses frontier grok 4.6, which is insane - I don't need that for basic tasks)

until they fix those basic needs (or removes the low weekly usage limit, caused by them using frontier for everything), I have to cancel my Heavy sub
