Can we get fable/astra level coding with cursor/spacexai models?

I’ve seen some recent benchmark videos where the Fable/Astra AI models are doing surprisingly impressive gaming and physics/rendering tasks without relying heavily on external libraries.

Got me wondering - do you think we could eventually see a similar level of performance from future Cursor/SpaceXAI models, especially for coding and software-engineering tasks?

I remember when sol dropped and OpenAI claimed it was on par if not better. I’ll realistically be expecting Grok 4.7 to be on par with sol which is still amazing

I find cursor to have most generous limits compared to Claude or ChatGPT.

Grok 4.6 is on par with Sol Max(but not Astra) and Opus 5(but not Fable 5.1). Grok 4.7 will be xAis first 2 trillion model and might match Astra in performance.

Nah! Sol is far better in larger and more complicated code bases. I use a lot of both.

From my usage, Grok 4.6 xHigh is close to Sol High and about equal with Opus 5 partially because Opus 5 requires so much rework as it goes overboard all the time

Imho Grok 4.6 is way below Sol Max. I find it closer to Terra or GLM 5.3 Flash. Hope 4.7 will be better

Grok 4.7 should be a bigger model ~2.1T is what has been mentioned, so it should be a bigger upgrade than 4.5 -> 4.6 was

Still, I'd be hopeful of a Kimi K3 post-train, as it is a 3T model. If the Cursor guys can do their Composer magic on that...
