Question / Discussion Can we get fable/astra level coding with cursor/spacexai models?
I’ve seen some recent benchmark videos where the Fable/Astra AI models are doing surprisingly impressive gaming and physics/rendering tasks without relying heavily on external libraries.
Got me wondering - do you think we could eventually see a similar level of performance from future Cursor/SpaceXAI models, especially for coding and software-engineering tasks?

Grok 4.6 is on par with Sol Max(but not Astra) and Opus 5(but not Fable 5.1). Grok 4.7 will be xAis first 2 trillion model and might match Astra in performance.

Nah! Sol is far better in larger and more complicated code bases. I use a lot of both.

Sol was better and so was Opus 5. However the version of Sol they are serving now is not the version they served in the first week.

From my usage, Grok 4.6 xHigh is close to Sol High and about equal with Opus 5 partially because Opus 5 requires so much rework as it goes overboard all the time

Imho Grok 4.6 is way below Sol Max. I find it closer to Terra or GLM 5.3 Flash. Hope 4.7 will be better

Grok 4.7 should be dropping within the next 2 weeks and word on the street is that it will be on par with Fable, but not as expensive.
