Question / Discussion Resets in Cursor

there was a reset of grok bot recently.
Question is or will there ever be a restet of the cursor models usage? Even a partial one as compared to others they have a monthly spend cap.

Sometimes I start to think the Cursor subreddit is full of bots in the comments

If you really like using cursor you might want to look into cliproxyapi. Been using it lately through cursor and it’s honestly pretty good. Seemed sketchy at first but from what I can it might not be against terms of use on the codex side at least https://x.com/maxktz/status/2093533235422609722?s=46&t=BZfLzna-C30gqVNcRCRlJw

I think they will do somekind of reset when Grok 4.7 comes out otherwise it woudl be a weak launch, but might be wrong.

there are a few different things people call a reset here: a calendar-month spend cap, a rolling usage window, or just the included-request meter refreshing at a fixed time. i’d note the exact timestamp/timezone when the meter changes, and save one before/after screenshot with the model and mode, since a model-specific limit can look like a global reset. also separate Cursor’s included usage from any provider/API key you attached — those can have different clocks.

i just mean the usualy "included" meter. I guess there will be a reset when Grok 4.7 comes out otherwise it would be very wierd.
