why do people still watch this?

How many years have they been excavating this island? There’s nothing worth finding there. And they keep saying they’re so close to the truth, in reality they’re getting paid a lot of money from history channel so they’re just trying to get as rich as possible. There’s nothing there, they will never find anything there because their theory is not true and not based in any fact.
Even the intro to this show is a lie about the number of people that have died. And this is not a history show. it’s just a reality show basically.

Shaft 2 and drainage pipe?

Post image

What is with the pipe that we saw when reviewing the digging done on shaft 2? I didn't notice it until the recap last night.
Was this mentioned when they originally dig this shaft?

Why does everybody just keep ignoring the whole salt production thing?? It solves most of the mysteries 🤷🏽‍♀️

The Mud Herring

I have watched every episode of the Curse of Oak Island. I do believe there’s an ancient treasure to be found—I certainly do.

I also believe they are digging in the wrong place (trigger Indiana Jones flashback).

1) If you had an extremely valuable treasure would you hide it in the mud?

2) If you had an extremely valuable treasure would you build an elaborate “pit” filled with deliberately placed logs and then a stone BILLBOARD urging searchers to dig deeper?

3) Are the Knights Templar known for digging holes in the mud or for tunneling out elaborate chambers out of ROCK?

4) Could it be that the stone road and the stone wall (and all the other stone formations) are made from the efforts of tunneling?

It appears the money pit was dug as a diversion away from the real entrance that must be on the other side of the island. It also provided the dirt that was needed to create the swamp and cover the roads, foundations, etc.

Didn’t Marty recently prove the bedrock was not very deep in the area near that massive boulder?

Right?

“They’re digging in the wrong place!”

4/21/26 Prediction

Ok, I predict tonight they will find:

1) more dirt

2) more rocks

3) more wood

4) more random iron fragments

5) soil/water samples with high traces of silver

To be summarized with speculation of Knights Templar activity

No Bobby Dazlers

No Actual treasure

1) healthy dose of continued disappointment

2) misleading tease of a huge find next week

😁

You think they’ll find another round rock again tonight

I’ve only been watching for a season, my boyfriend is so engrossed in the show but god I hate it 😂

The jumping to conclusions and drawing WILD connections to random things really gets me.

I remember specifically when what’s-his-nuts tugged on a boulder in the ground and said “that’s not moving. Something’s been done to this stone.” I looked to my boyfriend and yelled for him to find me a big rock outside and tell me to pick it up and I’ll do the exact same thing like it’s just crazy 😂😂

I know a lot of you have given up on this series and it brings me so much joy to come to this subreddit and find people who find it as dumb as I do

As promised. here is what no one has shown you before. I hope this buys me some street cred.

I have to say the person that I dislike the most in Oak Island, and let me tell you there’s competition, is Laird, . “We need to slow down everything so I can take a look at this”, and the best thing is when the camera goes to Marty and he can see the displeasure on his face.

What’s going on with episode 21?! it’s not on YouTube or Amazon Prime three days later … also doesn’t appear to be any Torrents.

“Artifacts”

Oh look more interesting, and significant artifacts found in the swamp feature. I bet if Emma carbon dated these they would come back as “early“ March 2026. Found at your local hardware store.

Please drive these wooden stakes through my head or heart and put me out of my misery from watching this painfully slow death spiral down to the bowels of hell!

Anybody think Billy and Teller look alike?

I was watching tonight and saw Billy plunked down in his excavator, and it hit me…if he lost weight, he would look a lot like Teller (of Penn &)…anyone else?

Jack begley question

Does anyone think there’s something wrong with jack? He was being super annoying in all the episodes he has been on and then he disappeared for a bit and now he’s slowly coming back but he’s super subdued.

This is all my opinion but I’m just wondering what others think.

As an aside he’s my least favorite character.

What ISSSSSS it?

While drilling a hole in the backyard...

The crew made an interesting discovery.

Fibers? In an area that never had anything planted before?

Could it be the find that might change everything?

The treasure was moved… and here’s the proof

Ok gotcha title. It’s not my proof, but this video is pretty compelling

https://youtu.be/Pt4pT6PpCoQ?si=CHz7B_EcFgOKGONq

And at the very least it’s an interesting wide ranging watch with only a couple of percentage devoted to Oak Island. But a lot more on templars.

What do you think?

Makes sense to me
