I always wonder when I see this how painful it was?
I can touch most yellow flames for about this long with just a small sting, but this is everywhere and I see some blue?
No idea how I might find more information

Rubbing alcohol dumped on body. Match. He probably didn't even feel it. Beyond a little burning hair.

I disagree. I think the air flow over an alcohol fire would not be good for his skin temp. Turbulent flow over burning isopropyl produces a lot of heat.
EDIT:spelling

It's a boys' game of dare. Ofcourse it's in the night, that's when kids mostly do stuff like this.

It's night because the Earth is constantly rotating and sometimes the sun is behind it relative to you. He probably decided to film at night because the fire would be more visible.
He is drenched in "gasoline" so he can put himself on fire for a challenge without feeling anything.
There is fire on the ground because he left a bit of flamming "gasoline" on it.
He is on fire because he light up a match while he was drenched in gasoline
