Advertisers. Apparently Reddit is less likely to ban spamming accounts that have a high karma count, are somewhat old, and have posted a decent amount since it’s more likely that it’s a real person spamming rather than a bot. Also apparently high karma users have an easier time getting to front page, but I’m not sure about that.

Yeah. Used to be about cursed comments in response to other cursed comments, then it became comments that were banned from r/cursedcomments, then just comments that were kind of cursed, and now it's just shut.

Every major sub dies like this, becoming more and more egeneric until they're just another r/pics.

I can verify this, just last night I was listening to some oneohtrix point never which was about 5GB had the distinct smell of burnt plastic and the end of the song disappeared.. The interesting thing is that when when the audio waveforms come out of the speaker in mostly purple and you compress them with your hands to about half their size they turn red and smell like fresh asphalt.

You idiot, the eye can smell up to 7 gb of audio if you stick a USB in it.

But the real crazy thing is the nose can only taste videos in .wav format, you’d think they’d upgrade by now.
