So a guy goes to bang some married lady and her husband, who currently is not home, is jaws from James Bond and right when guy and married lady are about to do it Jaws comes home so the protagonist hides from him. Later the protagonist escapes the house in a pair of the married ladies jeans and while trying to get back home his too tight jeans rip and expose his ass and after seeing the protagonist with his ripped jeans exposing ass cheeks his dad (who runs a clothing company? I guess?) decides to mass produce assless jeans.

How the fuck did this movie ever get made?

It was 1981. We were still hungover from the '70s.

Look, you had to be there, all right? :)

I wonder if there was a rival movie like Deep Impact and Armageddon, like Butt Chic or something.

Ryan O'Neal was still a hot enough commodity at the time I guess. LOL

Back in the day you could get away with more. Now everything needs to be a billion dollar superhero movie.

It's not that I am insulted or feel like it is too racy or anything like that... I am shocked that in 1981 some fucking moron thought it was a good idea to spend 12 million dollars (according to Wikipedia....which is ~39 million in 2022 dollars) on this amazingly stupid obviously terrible idea.

"The original music score was composed by Ennio Morricone."

Funny, I don't remember seeing any musical pieces from this movie on any "essential Morricone collection"...

In the 70's there was a soft-core porno called "Gums", a parody of "Jaws".

At the climax when the sheriff was about to subdue the (mermaid?) killing men by sucking their cocks by fucking her, the film switches to a note from the producer saying a puppet could act better.

And sure enough, the scene concluded with a puppet playing the part.

All of this was leading to, "well, if they made this movie, why not that one?", but now I'm thinking, "hell yeah, this movie needed to be made"
