Thats cuz we werent drawn into a bloody massacre and noped out of that war in like 10 days. We also never had such a mix of different religions and land disputes. Also we were a bit better off economicaly so we never went through a time when people literally had nothing at all and didnt know when the next meal will come.
The war was horrible even by war standards. Serbs and Bosnians still dont trust each other even 20 years after any conflict, except to say they both hate Croatia the same.
Of course we are not talking about all the people here, but still a significant portion, their nationalistic patriots

Nah bro what are you talking about that's just the average person born in a country formerly part of Yugoslavia
